Just a quick note to say hello.
Summer flew by, and now it is time to go back to school. I rode the ferry to Ocracoke Island...nice day trip. Lots of sewing and painting this summer...not enough time. I am getting back in to a routine, which includes posting favorites and answering mail.

Thanks for all the support.I will try and answer some of the mail....800+ ...a bit overwhelming.

Monty is back home; Ha-kun is back in the fold....and thankfully...no more excitement.

P.s. Crystal Elyse (Honey Bunny) died this summer. She had a protozoa infection the was eating her nervous system, and we couldn't watch her suffer.
So, for all who have or will mourn the loss of a beloved finned, feathered, scaled or furred member of the family, here is the poem that the vet included in our sympathy card:

Just this side of Heaven is a place called
Rainbow Bridge

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remembered them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind...
